Kelli's Stretching Tips 
One of the most popular fitness training techniques adopted outside
of the gym is running. Here is a set of simple stretches to try
before and after you go for your run.
General Stretches

Quadriceps Stretch
- Hold foot of leg you are stretching
- Pull the foot up behind yourself
- Knees together and push hips forward to feel more of the stretch
down the front of the leg

Hamstring Stretch
- Stand with one leg to the front and one the the back
- Bend the back leg slightly
- The front leg should be out and straight (heel on floor)
- Point the toes of the front foot towards you

|
Calf Stretch
- Stand with one leg to the front and one to the back.
- Bend the front leg slightly
- Hold the back leg straight
- Push the heel of the back leg to the ground
- Both heels to remain flat on the floor

|
Chest Stretch
- Link your hands out behind your back
- Squeeze your shoulder blades together
- Gently lift arms
|
|
|
Back Stretch
- Link your hands out in front of yourself
- Pull the shoulder blades apart
|
|
Ok, enjoy your run but don't forget to stretch again when you're finished.
